I had a go on the spirit and loved it. Because the bridles are gross, I did not buy one. They feel like dental floss and there is no way to tune the mixer. Gin should bring out an upgrade kit.

got me the 10,12 and 15m. coming from Sonic 3 these are for me a better choice. zero tiptucking and very very stable. but the bridles are a hassle indeed. its like the pulley`s have a life of there own. i mean, how correctly i pack up the kite everytime its a little mess. bridles itself look like dental floss indeed! but there strong enough.. for now. just one strange thing, i had to make my backlines say 10cm longer for normal behaviour on 3 different bars. otherwise with standard even lines i had to depower a lot to ride with power. but like said, great kites.

ps. Instict HB 10m on its way.

The bridles are good and strong, the Pully's are good quality, but on the heavy side, causing them to hammock, meaning swing, and catch on the other bridles. This kite vs Sonic 3 is a more stable, and smoother ride, Sonic 3 for sure boosts higher. One concern, and it happened once to me, is this kite inflates faster than Sonic 3, so you have to be careful on a hot launch, I had a bit of a bad experience, hopefully I just did something incorrect, but I did get lofted a bit. Beyond that Gin Spirit is a very good kite, fabric, better than Sonic 3, and for whatever reason, its fabric I noticed repels the sand unlike Sonics, not sure what that is.

Rumor and hearsay - I like to hear from people that actually own these kites. I own or have owned the Spirit in 8, 10, 12, and 15. Instinct in 8, 10, 12, 15, and 18.
Pointless to go into details, he's just some kinda clown/troll. Not sure, what his goal is, but better to just ignore until he finds a more readable way to add to discussions IMO. It's possible there is some truth hidden in all that blablabla, but I don't really think it's worth the time to decode it.

Let me set the record straight, folks. There's a certain thread out there with some peculiar explanations – let's not kid ourselves. Now, you might think I can just ignore it, but let me tell you, I can't ignore the truth. My style, well, it's tremendous, and you know what else? It's as true as it gets. No beating around the bush, no hiding behind fancy words – just raw, unadulterated truth. That's the way I roll, believe me.
