'where' was from a person that has that soul v2..and then rode a spirit back to back to make an immediate comparison
from private conversations...
the word used was soul2 "final prototype".. (no clue what will/will not be changed on final version)
and glowing reviews for the spirit does not imply anything negative about the soul2
(i have a sneaky suspicion i know that "dealer" in the other thread )
I have flown the 15m today with foil. Stable, no wing folding. Drifts good. Predictable, very easy. I liike it much better than the Soul 12: good turning, smooth and constant power delivery, not like Soul where power comes with a delay and then all of a suddun too much. I like the Soul 12 on TT, but not on foil. -Tom
I've been getting some good sessions on the 15m Spirit this winter on snow. The 15m is now my defacto light-wind kite for park-and-ride spots. Compared to my Little Cloud Pelicans, it does not carry as much power thru the loop, but pop and lift are considerably more aggressive. Really fun kite for jumping; the best boosting and big air kite I personally have ridden, although I don't have any experience on Soul, Hyperlink, Chrono, etc.
Tomlutz, would love if you could share some more comparisons to the Soul, particularly how the power/jumping compares between the two?
A little footage from earlier this year; unfortunately, my gopro has been broke the last month for some of my more recent excursions.

Sorry, I am beginner on foil and only jumped max. 1 m with the Spirit (don't take risks with gear that is not mine). Did not ride it on TT and can't really compare, also because I can't compare same sizes. I would expect Soul to clearly jump better because of its boosting abilities (at the same time a disadvantage on foil in my view, at least for a beginner and in difficult gusty conditions).
I would say that Spirit 15 and Soul 12 turns similarly, although Spirit 15 is bigger. Spirit is probably a bit more lightweihgt than Soul, although it is is not extremely lightweight like Concept Air Pusion. This I can only judge by the inertia and staying in the air, I haven't weighed. - Tom
