Hula? Kite

Postby OzBungy » Wed Aug 04, 2021 7:29 am

A foiler took off from our local beach on a foil kite I had never seen before.

It was very brightly colored in pastel tones with a heap of triangles on the lower surface. It looked like it had "Hula" written on it. I've searched for Hula and various kite words and found nothing.

It was a mid-aspect ratio relaunchable foil kite. Seemed to go quite well. Just looking out of curiosity. Anybody know what kite this is?

Thanks. I should have recognised it from the similarities to Bruce Goldsmith's paraglider designs.
