I wonder how much a double skin kite will help me learn them? But I keep using these single skins that are just so easy to use (setup etc...)... some day...
Like Régis explained, it seems that the higher the ratio the more you are pulled up when the high ratio kite is placed at the zenith and you pull the bar.
With the 7.5 and 8 ratios of the Spectre V3 (-;) it will be deliver...

I tried it last week end in 15 to 20 knots on a TT board and 23 m lines. Not light wind... :-). 20 knots is its sweetspot for my taste on a TT board.
Average was more close to 15 knots than 20. Here is the vidéo :

Thanks Regis, how does the jumping compare (from this double skin kites) with a regular LEI jumping kite?
I haven’t used this double skin kites much, and even less tt.

Its is too early to answer ... LEI are more easy and tolerant to launch the jump , and also on the timing to prepare the landing to the water thanks to better turn at the zenith; but on some jumps I was jumping a bit higher and with a longer hang time than my LEI Flite; not a big difference at first sight; but a bit more I would say;

I feel that I need to jump more with the Spirit V2 , to fine-tune my timing of the kite, gain in regularity , to be more confident in assessing its jump ability. Because sometimes I jumped quite high.

PS: no need to say that I was jumping faaaaar higher than with the hysper2

Haha, I still want to see a video of all the moves you show (with the Spirit and hydrofoil) but, with the Hysper

New test in harsh condition, offshore irregular wind (I normally use only LEI in those conditions for the risk of break/unrelaunchability and then impossibility to swim back agains the high current to come back to shore before getting outside help);
I was not alone , it was the start of the day light, so I decided to go with the Spirit 2 , free ride foil; Average 12 knots, gusts around 15 knots I would say. My camber setting was set to "more stable" since I had far enough wind and was not looking for grunt pull. My friend , 10 kilos heavier , was on a 9m LEI.

It went well, kite was extremely and surprisingly stable, absolutely no start of collapse, no wing folded, no slack lines; it was the " high comfortable end"' for me , so still safety and rideable margin, but still comfortable; this makes a range of about 7-13 knots as a sweet spot for me.

I was quite curious when a friend reseller told me that he discovered Sky Country from Ukraine, and after a short chat , I decided to give it a try and took the risk to buy one, based on its features:
...
I contacted them , about building me a kite , a week or two ago ; then
it dawned on me :
The company, might not be in existence any longer ! :(
