I had the same issue with wings folding on my brand new Peak4 6m. When I checked the lenght of span line ( B-Safe0 and two B-Safe1) and compared it to the Peak 4 6m kite line plan I noticed that it was a few cm shorter than 4483 mm as per the official Peak 4 6m kite line plan. Then I tried to use 5 cm extension but it did not solve the problem completely.
Absolutely. I started with the 6m & 4m. Then I was persuaded that I should have a 5m by Peter Flederhosen wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 10:02 am
Do you think you could leave out the 5m and just bring 4m and 6m to the beach? Thinking about changing to 4m and 6m peak5.
How do you think for lighter Foiling experienced person (66kg) 6m peak can work normaly In wind range from (8)9 till 15(16-17) knots with standart moses 633?Flyboy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 3:02 amThe 6m is a lot of fun ... within the limitations of the wind it's used in. Yes, obviously it's not as fast & agile as the 4m, but in 10 - 13 knots it's perfect.lederhosen wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 10:02 am

The wind range at which the 5m excels is 13 - 14 knots, but that is certainly doable with the 6m also.
I would imagine the 6m will work well for 66 Kg at 9 knots - 8 knots would probably be pushing it a bit. At the other end I don't think you'd want to be using the 6m at 15 knots, let alone 16 or 17 knots. You could do it, but it wouldn't be much fun. At 14 knots you will be fine on the 4m.a99 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 4:59 pmHow do you think for lighter Foiling experienced person (66kg) 6m peak can work normaly In wind range from (8)9 till 15(16-17) knots with standart moses 633?Flyboy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 3:02 amThe 6m is a lot of fun ... within the limitations of the wind it's used in. This is what convinced me in the end. It does very much depend on what your local wind conditions are. My Peak year comprised a lot of light wind sessions where the 6m was the obvious choice. Some of those sessions I might have be been fine on the 5m - perhaps better - but it only takes a shift of a knot or two up or down to favour one kite rather than the other. It's how long lasting that shift is that determines whether it's actually worth switching kites. My (82 kg) experience: 10, 11, 12 knots you want the 6m. 13, 14 knots you could still be on the 6m but might prefer the 5m. 15, 16 knots you could still be on the 5m, but might prefer the 4m. Fluctuations between those wind speeds during a session (which is pretty normal) make the choice of kite pretty hard to pin down.jumptheshark wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 5:30 pmSpreading out wear is also a not trivial consideration with single skin kites.
