I had the same issue as you, dont have a picture, but I simply tied a knot just below the cleat where the two lines end and only one continue, and added a stopperball here (or not).
Then you only have to go through the 828 one time.
Now I have removed this "double line" on this QR, and on all other bars I just use one line from the QR and through the cleat.
Eventhough I use 5 mm rope instead of 4 because it fits so perfectly in the cleat teeth, and a nice bigger size for lasting (wear when through the bar hole).
A bit difficult to pass through the aero cleat holes because it is most likely thicker if you burn the end, but possible - and you only have to do it once
I think it is 5 mm Liros Magic Edge (Dyneema with Polyester coating), the line - but not sure....
To avoid it slipping through the cleat teeth I simply make an overhand loop, which is easy to grab when you have to adjust trim.
You can just make it really long for starters, and cut it down or not when you know how long it needs to be (for depowering).
For others - we are talking about this cleat, the CL828-68 Aero cleat in AN:
The next size cleat, the CL826 is way too big and heavy and clumsy for hydrofoiling IMO, but fine for "old boards"
