No matter, perhaps a picture of the final solution will be the revelation!
Well... this was my first solution, keping the stopper, one rope is not passing through the cleat.
But I was not convinced, so following Peter's advice I am using this solution now. just one rope to the QR (5mm dynema works fine with this cleat)... So actually i have no stopper
I want it compact cos is just my light wind HF bar, with 30m lines, wich am using with pulsion 12m ...good combo!

^^ Thanks for the pics, looks very neat. Not having a stopper will be good for the biceps!
I wonder if bohme’s alternative to the aerobase is a home made or an off the shelf part?
PS just an after thought, you might get 2 lines through the small aerobase if one was inserted in the core of the other for the appropriate position and length…….have to be trialed with hollow core etc

Thanks for sharing Bohme!
I wonder how you tied this pulley on a "no spliceable" rope

F1 setups from about 2008/9 used same/similar setup - so I think this piece might available? It was definitely a specific part because it was more than a flat plate - it had extra thickness for the threads that pushed up thru the depower rope. but could always use flat plate with a couple lock nuts ...

^^ Thanks for info.
I am guessing that the Bohme’s red and white line is Marlow D12 and is spliced to Ronstan shock block sliders, nice way to get a 3 or 4 to 1 trim system.

The rope has a dynema core suitable for splicing. The cover is removed at the cleat end (this end does not need grip).
The cleat plate is a small 3mm carbon plate with two inside rope tracks (made with a Dremel).
I actually prefer small ball bearing blocks because they have less friction, but they do not work well with the sand from the local beach.

Why can't you get the 4mm rope through? What is stopping it? Is the rope physically too thick to go through the gaps, or is it the end is too thick or too fluffy to go in the gaps?
Have you tried tapering the end then taping it and making a long point so you can get the end through?
