I bought the 13m sonic 3 in the end. A soul absoloutly lover the hang time allows you to do board and stuff just a couple feet off the water. Not fond any other that gives you the time to do that. I am curious still if the 11m could of done that for me but with better steering input.
Any one got a 13m and have tried different bar set ups for the best steering inputs and speed of steering them. Only tried mine with an ozone bar and 22m lines at th mo.

What bar length you running? If you want more turning response from the kite try a longer bar. I tested the Sonic3 13m and found it to feel super powerful it can feel really lit in moderate winds. I have a fellow rooky racer who has a 9m and hardly ever uses it, always on the 13m - or his 15m or 18m.

50cm ozone bar at the moment. I have a longer bar bit it needs new lines as incredibly stretched through use on my soul.

In which wind have you found out it is well on jumps ? I have one and found out that it is not designed for light wind if you want to jump ; on foil, 10 knots mini to get real powerful pull ; TT, I struggled to go upwind in about 11 knots ; wind range was close to my 11m Elf Jocker

About 14-16 I do not ride hydrofoils yet. Just TT but I have an old spleen door and that I can juno on as well as my smaller board. It gets me going in just a little more than a hydrfoil any way and goes up wind on its own. No where near the speed or efficiency of a foil.
But I am surprised i can do one back roll one foot outs in such light wind on a my door at low jump height. I can’t get that time out of my lei’s to do those in much higher winds and higher jumps on my shot gun board!
Will definitely be a nice kite to learn new tricks on I think.
hoping to spend some more time on it next couple days and in a little higher winds.
