Hi Rudy.
Man, you guys have got to move to the coast!
Many years ago I lived inland near a lake. Good wind was rare especially as windsurfing was the only game in town. Kitesurfing had yet to be invented.

Decided to move to the coast, best move I ever made. Plenty of steady wind, waves, warmer winters and cooler summers, life is good :D

Now when I venture inland I can feel the ocean pulling me back. You know our blood has a similar salinity to the sea ...

I would of thought FLYSURFER would of learnt a lot from the soul 2 and the new moustache that may help progress a new sonic to be fair. I’m sure they have locked up on a few things even it’s just stability material less wingtip fold or what ever. Always improvements that can be made.

I would rather see a Speed 6. I would like to see the stability and a swooping turn of the Soul and the boosting and upwind ability of the Sonic. Yeah, I know that it sounds like a Chrono 4, but the Chrono lacks the range of the Soul and Sonic.

From what I have read, the gin spirit is sitting between the Soul and Sonic. Maybe worth a look.
I hope the rumors are true and hold up to its praises because i ordered one ;)

The Gin spirit fabric and lines sure look like superior quality compared to ozone and FS foil kites.
I am quite tempted to get one, not a fan of the artistic design though.

What I would like to see and what would be a good upgrade is a return of Flysurfer's "ultralight" versions. They use to do DLX versions of the Speeds and Psycho which were built lighter with a trade off of being more fragile. I would especially like to see this in the Soul line which is purposely overbuilt for durability.

There are lighter materials out there being used like KaiperXT on his Falcon which would save a lot of weight which even the Sonic would benefit from.

The Gin Spirit is exactly what I would like to see in a Speed 6. It is just too bad that 15 is the largest size for the Spirit The fabric, bridles, and pulleys are bomber.

Shame they don’t do an 11m on the spirit. That’s the size I want. Will have to go sonic 3 I think.

If you live in the US, I have a Sonic 3 11m with very little use. PM me if you are interested.

I personally ride Gin Instincts which are very similar in performance to FS Sonic3. The fabric is also the super tough (and light), developed by Gin Paragliders for use on paragliders needing extra durability such as tandem and paramotor wings (its called Myungjin), but also works amazingly well for high performance - I think its probably similar to the new Soul v2 fabric, possibly even faster/stronger, not sure. I actually race against Sonics regularly and have ridden both and I find the instinct slightly better in every way - apart from maybe looks, sonic is a sexy kite but not sure i like the great soulv2 look. I have almost done a whole season on the instincts and they are like new, same deal with Spirits I used them last season and they are light and durable and high performance, just as the Soul is, especially v2. Sonic4 with updated fabric and more stability and better relaunch would be awesome.
