by discussing on another french topic with KL expert, I understood that on top of the too light wind, longer lines would have been far better than my 16 meters ... should I try this again, I would put 20m to 23 meter lines, which bring more room in the window and more hangtime to complete the KL.

another one , in very light wind, with 15m foilkite , around 7 knots;

Not that bad and quite addictive once the fear has evaporated. Loops almost fully closed , thanks to 26m lines and a relative good agility of the Spirit kite , keeping some lift during the turn ;

I really wouldn't call that a "powered" kite loop, the first half was more of a spiral(when you stall one side of the wing to increase rotation).
