Regarding Chrono V1 and V2. I owned both of these kites in 15 and 18m sizes. The depower range was limited and they are terrible in gusty wind. That is why I didn’t even try a V3.

A friend let me try the R1 V4 13m and I jumped 21m in the first session without even trying.
i also tried the v1 chrono in florida many years ago, (like maybe 10?) at the time i was a flysurfer enthusiast so i had plenty of experience with foil kites. anyway,, i thought the same thing, was not impressed. fast forward to about 3 years ago i bought an use 11m chrono v3 UL,,,,,, and it is one of my favorite kites now. wish i could afford the v4 or v5.
