Bridles themself are more than strong enough for racing/big air. Problem is with (re)launching, flagging out or kite falling out of the sky inverted where there can be tangles and/or more stress on only 1 ore 2 lines that can cause some damage to the bridles or kite itself
They won't snap when the kite is flying normally, no matter how powered you be. It's just that you need to be careful that there are no tangles when launching and you won't ride in crazy turbulent wind so it can collapse/invert .

Thicker bridles will cost you a bit of performance so it will be a slightly different kite then.

On my chrono v1 i had a freeride bridal set made for it. So all of the bridal is now the thicker lines which are less prone to tangles and knots! Works great. I think it cost around 250$ or so.

Do someone have a tip for a spray that you can spray on the lines to make them stiffer and less tangeable?

That is a great deal on a new bridle. Do you recall who made it for you?

Hmm... Connectors to the canopy break more easy than the lines, I don't think a change of bridle lines is needed??? You can rip of connectors easily when pulling if you got some tangles and load is only on one connector, the bridle lines hold up, but not the canopy connection!

not those 25kg lines they used for the brake, C and tip sections of A/B that connects to the the canopy.

Exactly. I have not had a connector break, but I have had 4 of the thinnest bridles break.

Hi Fernmanus,

If you only need to replace the TE bridles (Break Bridles) that should be be quite straight forward as they are connected to KR1 and not part of the speed system.
Just a question of sourcing a higher breaking strain bridle, this might be of interest.
