Pansh payment

Postby Bracatinga » Thu Aug 03, 2023 1:04 am

Hi,
I ordered a Kestrel kite on the Pansh website.
The recommended payment method is wire transfer. But my bank requires the recipient's address which I cannot find on the website. And they do not answer the mails I sent. My other bank requires an IBAN which seems not to be used in Hong-Kong.
Has someone made a wire transfer to them and can provide the address ?
Or is everybody using the alternative Paypal method ?
Thanks for your help.

The info is here: https://panshkite.com/index.php?gOo=help_send.dwt

I paid for my 18 m kestrel this way and of course regretted it until I received the kite
But the conversion rate on PayPal is just ridiculous.

I just bought a Kestrel paying via wire transfer. No Problem. Payment was reveived next day by Pansh, showing [paid] on order details. I chose "shared cost" and paid 12,50€ for payment to my own bank but got more than that back from Pansh for using wire transfer. Also I got much better conversion rate than with PayPal.

Pansh is trustworthy, I dealt a lot with them and there is no need for "buyer protection". I had some issues over the years, but they were always resolved to my satisfaction.

I've never had a problem with Pansh. I believe you don't need the IBAN if paying from a hong kong bank which doesn't have IBAN, the SWIFT code should be enough. Check the instructions on the pansh web site they should have a section that explains how to pay from hong kong.

I have loved how cheap my pansh kites were but sadly have graduated to flysurfer soul kites and now instead of having 3 or 4 foil kites I just have 1 soul for the same price, but it's worth it to me.

Zero regrets for any pansh purchase because with kites this cheap it's impossible to have a failure even if it doesn't fly perfect.

Hi,

bought my first Panshes beginning 2017. 2 rules I learned, I would like to share. Never in no case ship with EMS and never in absolutely no case pay other than Paypal.

Could be that other guys have other experience, that is mine.

tks

Kosta

Hi,
Finally solved my problem. Sending EUR instead of USD. Funnily enough the recipient's address is not mandatory in that case.
Now hoping everything will be alright.
Thanks for your replies.

But you loose a lot of money because of that!? The address is given on the info page of Pansh. You don't need more than that. But guess it's too late.

What problem did you have? I know, if you start PayPal claims or things like that, they no longer deal with you, as this causes them a lot of trouble and cost.

I never used PayPal as "leverage", never had to. You need some patience sometimes, but Pansh did always make it right in the end. I always used EMS, as it is cheaper and even quicker to Germany as FedEx most of the time.

I bought 13 kites from them since 2018 and had 2x problems with kites, had to send back. First time they paid for shipping and sent out the new kite right after I shipped the bad one. Second time I sent the damaged kite for repair, was a lot quicker than expected and worked fine, too.

This time I paid with wire transfer the first time, was cheaper and worked very quick and seamless. Ordered and paid on July 17th. Was flagged "paid" on July 18th, was shipped July 28th, and got the kite today, August 4th.
