The perpetual KTA Asia Pacific Hydrofoil Series made its first call to Malaysia at the end of 2018. Held from the 14-16th of December along the sandy shores at Desaru Coast of eastern Johor, Malaysia. The event saw 40 riders from 18 different countries go head to head to compete for the title and 5,000 USD of prize money.
