Board shorts its for protect wetsuit ..u Can sit around with less chance to cut or damage...and nice shorts looks better than most black wetsuit..and if u use Seat or Hybrid harness its easy ti damage the legs wetsuit so Better wear Them..lady not Always wear bikini in kite they Can use shorts too (point 1 bit sexism)..dress as u prefer its 2019 2020already in kite industry

I don't leave lines out and I don't leave kites flogging on the beach. I am talking about Newbies or the unaware who often come up as you are rigging to ask what size etc. and nonchalantly walk all over your lines as they look at your gear. As an ex climber it really grates, pun intended.

Round my way the dogs make sure you don't want to leave gear laying on the beach!!

Fair enough, my apologies. Having never witnessed it myself i hadn't realised people do this... that's pretty moronic.

^ Thanks and no worries! At least it illustrated both points, not leaving lines out and not trampling on lines while talking to somebody rigging are both more worthy of a commandment than a fashion statement.

on the topic of boardshorts over the wetsuit.. Most wetsuits I owned start showing wear close to the balls area in under 1 year..you can patch the leaks from outside (god bless ya patching from inside ) , but it does not look pretty. Thus the shorts.. Also if you, like me, don't have time to change or it's too cold that you have to run somewhere in the city right after the beach (shopping, picking up kids from school, etc) then you would appreciate conservative looking ones with some jacket over the wetsuit.. you would just look like you came from a gym and not a space alien... and that girl on the video.. she could do better with the bikini outfit.. we have a middle aged dude on our beach and he wears sexier thongs than she does.. look at the green suit guy with a red thong in the video at 26s and further...
