How to Care for your "Click Bar"

Postby Toby » Tue Nov 12, 2019 11:32 am

In this short clip, Tom Court takes us through how to properly pack up and care for your click bar after each session. The Click Bar is a premium product that allows heightened control when on the water and also the unique internal de-power system provides a completely clean control surface. Like all premium products, this bar requires that you look after it to make sure that it remains in prime working order and also lasts you a life time. Each part of the bar is replaceable, however, with these few small tips, you will get the most out of your click bar purchase.

Not a single word about flushing the inside of the depower tubing :o

If I get someone with a click bar for maintenance, most often the red flagout line is broken or too worn out to ride safely with. Sand accumulation inside the tube and chickenloop rubs on the red line and because one of the powerlines is directly attached, it snaps without warning if you never flush and check the red power/flagout line!

Shocking that they never warn you about this as it is a way bigger safety hazard than snapping a click-backline.
