When it gets cold, it has to be windy with some kind of tempting swell to get me out. I find most of the sessions at the end of our season are the most fun. I'd call that progression of another sort. The warm part of the season with less wind and waves is the training ground for the colder, windier and wavier fall. I don't spend any time in cold sessions dedicated to working on things like I do when its warm. Rather apply what I've already learned and just ride as hard as I can. Usually the waves are challenge enough.
