You know you are about to see something crazy when Nick Jacobsen is wearing a helmet 🤣

Cool stunt though. I'd say the walk out the crane is the most dangerous part.

Damn, can't watch that without thinking about liability! At least on Crane Jump v1.0 he did it completely on his own so no liability. Nick is insane.

Yes....crazy and it doesn't really have much to do with kiting....but let's all celebrate his craziness and if/when an accident does happen we can all complain how it negatively impacts the sports etc etc...

Just because something didn't end in tears does not make it a good decision

Sweet. Seems to fit into the general category of

Just because it’s a bad idea doesn’t mean it won’t be a good time!

You gotta love the attitude, drive & passion with Nick. I not suggesting anyone else try this but if it didn’t make you grin or shake your head, just give up. Your already mostly dead.

Edit. Yea, it’s not kiting, so what? Still sweet. :jump: :thumb:

When the shore pound is big and the wind onshore, I carry my foil out along an 80 ft long groin , 12” wide x 4 ft high to jump in the water at the end in the deeper water. My hearts always in my mouth, Fack Nick is an crazy MoFo

Totally just because you are landing on water doesn’t make it safe. If he jumped in the water from that height without a kite he could die or be seriously injured
