no, he got very lucky...could ahve easily broken his neck if he had his head more backwards...
and luckily he had an inch of water...if just the hard sand, or even worse that little hill of sand...would have been big trouble.

I immediately asked him if he is ok, and he said all good...and he kept riding.

Maybe he suffers in the future from it...I had a crash in shallow water (about 40cm, and still feel it, and maybe that's where my problem with my arms came from as well.

Fingers crossed he will have nothing!
