Usually I'm not too much into having gadgets with me while kiting. But this is quite a game changer.

Almost as good as Surfr
But good to see that finally something is happening in terms new development.
Really looking forward to the spring testing out Surfr. And if Woo can develop something even better than perfect.

^^^ Wrong way around surely?
Everyone knows that the more battered the vehicle - the more skill the rider has. 5000 bucks worth of kite gear - 500 bucks worth of vehicle. Spot on!

Garmin watches seem to be for pencil-wristed mini-men. Their biggest straps end where my wrist starts, and the physical size of the watches looks like I'm wearing a child's toy. Shame, cos their displays are better than Suunto.
Gripe moan complain. Truth of the matter is, we don't even get enough wind to warrant using a TT and that's why I'm septic

At 0.48 is it an illusion or is he doing a double kite loop plus a backroll?

Just a single loop. The added kite rotation is an illusion driven by the rider’s rotation. Would be a boogie loop (front roll + kite loop)
You can see the kite only makes one rotation because the LE only points down to the horizon once.
