That's really weird, isn't it supposed to blow hard there. Just a bunch of pretty lame foiling here, and no waves. i'd go to Cape Town every time if this is what Brazil is like.

I'm no expert on Cumbuco, but it is definitely not the best. Even so it is better than that I would imagine most days in the wind season. And an area well worth visiting. Easy to find stronger wind further north - using Cumbuco as a base.

Probably the friendliest place I have ever been to.

For me it is the best.

All depends what you prefer and the time frame...I have been in several places...and for me nothing beats Cumbuco.

e.g. Capetown. Many love it...best place in the world for them. I even don't need to think about it...wetsuit? Hell no!

But, many places can be good for a shorter time...but if you think long term, one may also decide for something else.

I probably should have specified for wind - even if you got 100000x more experience than ,e there - how many days you got with really solid wind etc. The overall package in Cumbuco is pretty "%%"!" % good.

I love CT, but it is as you say colder (not a big issue when kiting for me). And it is a bit more of a hassle driving around - even if it is possible to live next to the beach there as well of course.
