Thanks. Still learning to balance the stoke from a good session and remembering to shoot decent enough shots for an edit. Working on one now where I completely forgot any intro because it was blowing high 20s and I hadn’t used my 9m in like 4 months...
i highly recommend Davinchi Resolve. It is somehow free and so many good tutorials. These day you dont need to let editing suck up so much of your time is you choose the right technology.
Although today I find myself making edits on my phone a lot with gopros free quik software.
Instagram has the fastest edit making software - I am looking for something similar that isnt istagram!

Let me know if you find a good mobile editing app thats quick, I'm looking too.
I've been doing all this on Final Cut Pro, and its been pretty easy. Got a few plugins for effects from VFX Motion, and that was a big help too.
Nice work, and some great spots! Those slicks make me long for Buxton! In all these years it took pandemic boredom to get me into the idea of filming myself kite. Have been playing with a gopro max and their app "Quik" as mentioned by LWC. It's pretty easy and lives up to the name. Just right for my needs. Chiefly short little edits.
Interested in other editing options and will check out Davinci Resolve. Thanks Grumpy Smurf!
Have been playing around with mounts and have distilled it down to 4 I'll mix and match for kiting. One is a pretty sweet idea that I wanna test a bit before blabbing. Water is still 2.8 degrees C and warming! Looking forward to cracking the seal on this season and hope to get a few things figured out by the time I shed the 5/4. Will post back here after getting something together.
