Kitesurfing accident - Kiteboard vs. Head

Postby Dave_5280 » Wed Mar 03, 2021 7:51 pm

This strapless Kitesurfer (Airton Cozzolino) got hitten by his own board after kitesurfing a wave. The sound when the board hits the head of the kiter is just awful!

it's a basic rule in the sport to not use leashes, because of this.

It might be an advantage in the wave, but it still is dangerous.

I hope he is ok!

Maybe a roll leash is the answer to avoid this. But I guess it is not cool enough.

Life is dangerous!

Another reason I love the Wave Bandit Performer 4-10 so much!
