I lost a rock climbing friend from college to a paragliding accident last year. He was world class yet still got slammed into a cliff. These guys will not last long.

Yes - this seems like one of the riskiest activities possible. Must be exhilarating to do ... but surely at some point you're going to misjudge the the manoeuvre, or some air turbulence is going to throw off the timing? There seems to be practically no room for error when you're that close to the cliffs.

Just like in star trek (V....something) I keep my genitals in my kneecaps. I'd be wearing knee pads, along with the helmet. Speaking of kneecaps, quagga muscles can easily get through 3mm of neoprene pretty easy.
