All great tips.

I would add

1. Push on your Big Front Toe
2. Have your back foot placed across the midline of the board

For begiiners you want to try and keep the board flat (you will mosit likely go upwind anyways)

I dunno. It seems to me that one of the key tips I received when I was starting to foil was to take my front hand off the bar & pivot my upper body to face forward ... not the side of the front arm, but the side of the back arm. That centres your weight over the foil & makes you less likely to overweight the back foot.
