I fly Pivots and have the ATB Torque bar. I use Ion B2 Harness shorts. On several occasions the chicken loop has pulled some sort of Houdini move and come off the hook. Quite a surprise and at times scary....like when I was at the shore's edge with some close by palm trees that my kite wound up in. I've never been able to figure out the "reason" this happens. The chicken "stick" is plenty long, rigid etc. Has anyone else experienced this? I do have a couple other friends who have. So, my question is: What is different about the new Torque 2 Bar/loop/stick such that it is improved and won't surprise me by randomly coming off?

So , you and two friends have had this happen, you are looking for more corroborating evidence? I have kitesurfed since 1999, and never had a chicken loop disengage. In waves, upside down, dragged overpowered, throw sideways.
