What happens if you release like this and don’t push the Leah away?

Leash is long enough so it has no effect on the QR function. I've had to pull it before under water when my foil got in my lines and worked perfectly. I really believe this will be the way in the near future.

I use the Infexion QR since roughly a year and will never go back to any "conventional" QR.
I use it with a rope slider harness for foiling and wave riding (no powered jumps).
The Infexion QR enables super-clean bar setup and saves weight. I like the fact that the QR almost never gets sandy because it stays attached to the harness, never in direct contact with the sand.
Only slight downside: You have to get used to how the ring is pushed into the QR while pushing the QR away from your body (the right balance between pushing ring into QR and pushing QR outer body away from you). If you do it correctly it works very easy, but you can try it the wrong way which makes it a bit difficult.

Re above photo:

The leash running behind the release collar makes no difference. With a proper micro leash it probably won’t be able tangle in a way that seizes the collar. It is also good for slack release as the ring is pushed out by the bungee.

If you build your bar with a guide ring in the larks head of the main ring, to guide the flag line, mark the leash connecting ring. I once found myself clipping into the guide ring with the leash instead of the connecting ring. But that was down to me, the qr is a nice piece of kit.

@Adventure Logs
Looks like you have the normal push away for main release but ‘pull to release’ on the flag out line.
Any issues with this setup?
Obviously it makes swapping bars much simpler.

Happy User here as well, I have two sets. Easier to click in and out, and much better when packing a foil kite without the chicken loop on the bar.

Wait for major manufacturers to steal this and sell it for 3 times the price.

Really interesting adventure logs. I unhook so I can't use that release but I think there's nothing stopping me from building the same type of system for spreader bar chicken loop style of qr. Use 1 qr with multiple bars. Not sure of the details but it could work.

Awesome...another 'game changer'.
So IF this is indeed a game changer (it's not!), what are you changing it into?
