Find it interesting that BAKL seems to go very technical with the jumps, and is not so much height focused compared to what I have seen from e.g. KOTA (I freely admit I just watched 15 minutes or so so I could be wrong)
If this is the way its heading I give it one or two more seasons and big air will be pretty much in the same spot as wake/freestyle where the audience cant follow whats happening
I guess it makes sense in regards to that its easier to differentiate in tricks rather then going as high/big as possible ...

I give them one thing, at least you can watch it. Tried following the freestyle event but you are luck to get a 2 minute preview video on YouTube. All those sponsors and yet it seems no one can sort a a simple video stream to actually watch the competition for what is billed as a “world” event.

I've watched the final and found weird that Janek won as Beto was jumping visually higher (weirdly, they were not showing live jumping data)

Is freestyle gonna come back? Now that seemingly all the guys can do boogie loop boardoffs and Doobie loops, I was almost most impressed by people doing dangle passes. How does big air progress after kiteloop + boardoffs+ multiple rotations??
