The New 12m Pivot sounds interesting...I love my 8m and 10m but was not a fan of the 12M. It just pulled too hard and was difficult to hold an edge in stronger wind. I ended up buying a 12m Rebel and really like it, but now it sounds like they have given the new Pivot, Rebel like design features. Higher aspect, flies more forward, lighter, faster flying(not turning).......WTF
12&14m pivots are faster turning this yr that was the objective when they did the changes.
Mainly noticeable in the bigger sizes.
I think faster flying equates to faster turning?
I love the 12m in 18-22 knots that's the sweet spot for good hang on 12m pivot.
I'm 78kg.

No, they turn slower. According to the video they made them higher aspect to improve the straight line speed to fly quicker through the window.
However, all other things being equal, making a kite higher aspect will make it turn slower.
Hugely simplified: if you have same design but a higher aspect kite it is a wider kite so turning around the wingtip will make a wider arc.
Naish Pivot S25 12m had too much pressure in the bar so I sold it. In this place I have a Reedin supermodel V2 12m. This kite is faster and more fun and the bar pressure is right. I still have a Pivot S25 9m and this kite is really perfect.
