Foiling in a tricky wind shadow

Postby bkkite » Tue Jan 18, 2022 1:05 am

Fun session, but there was a tricky wind shadow near shore, happy to have finally gotten the right size kite for once I was out in the bay.

Great vid.
I also fond out that the best configuration for foiling in irregular wind is a very Big foil with a very little kite :-)

That’s a great tip, I had not connected the two. I’m riding an 1100cm foil and a 9m kite, but I’ve got a 1400cm one and probably could have used that with a 7m
