Really interested in wingfoil.. Wonder if a 7m or 9m on gongs 5'3" inflatable with my 633 and myself at 70kg would get me up in <10 knots?..
No. Not even close. You need more wind and a foil with more lift
5'3" board with a 7 or 9m and moses 1100 maybe?

Is the Naish 135 an inflatable? Looks like pump area at front! Is it available? Price? Thanks

Which size of the inflatable Indiana boards would you advise to start Wingfoiling with a weight of 84kg? the 6'0 or the 6'4? (I am intermediate kitefoiler)

Depends if you have some SUP or Windsurf experience. If you are ok balancing in choppy windy conditions on a smaller sup, then go for the 6'. If you are not so good at that, take the 6'4"

Yes it is indeed an inflatable. It's super new so it isn't on the website, nor has a price been listed yet. I am interested to see how well they have addressed stiffness.

As expected more and more inflatable Wingboards are blowing up into the list.

Also i-99 seems to plan further smaller boards. As I think their "Duo" board technology is the most interesting, I have now the 7'6" at home, but expect that I will need about 2 weeks to test it, here is it from their homepage and the rest of the bubbles:

Thanks for the thread Horst! I didn't see it when I started another very similar one. Do you have any idea of the differences in rigidity between the Manta and the Gong/Indianna boards? I was tempted by the manta due to local availability (in our country anyway) but not so excited about the limited size range or the deep tuttle box.

Hey, I love the idea of the inflatable board for many reasons but....

On hard boards the rails are shaped, the tail is cut away, the nose thinned and shaped etc.. Basically the inflatable is a block rectangle (ish) with thick rails.

Surely that either means hard boards are over engineered/designed or inflatables arnt as good?

Would love to hear from someone more knowledgeable than myself how the inflatable can compete with the performance of a hard board.

Im still learning and I touch down heavily sometimes and the rails/slightly pointed thinned nose help me not to bog down or evan nose dive..

To some degree I feel there is some overengineering with boards. I have a windfoil board I have been using for wingfoiling and it is fine. With that said, Idubt a inflatable would be as good of a board as it's hardboard counterparts in terms of performance, but it's stowability and durability may more than ake up for it. Once in the air the only real considerations are swing weight and stiffness as rail shape, rocker and outline become irrelevant.
