I agree the pricing doesn't make sense considering what they are charging for kites, which utilizes more aluula (I assume, at least) and is not too far off from the wing price $.
lately I've noticed that due to covid shortages and consumer excitement for outdoor activities many shops have started to take advantage of the frenzy. I'm not buying into this mindset as used gear prices take such a hard hit every season - e.g. Fone sling wings are now significantly discounted now that everyone thinks they are obsolete given the release of the strike.

Welcome to Canada, we're used to getting pumped hard with duties and brokerage fees whenever we bring in sporting goods from other countries, so buying an overpriced aluula kite locally with questionable graphics should be no problem for many of the independently wealthy here. And yes marijuana has been legal here for a few years.
