I'm close to my reaching my budget to get into wingfoiling and just wanted to ask for some input!

I have a moses 633 with 91cm mast, could I use the moses 1100 with the 91cm mast? I'm worried the 1100
may be hard on the mast? Could snap it?

Would a 120L board be too big for 75kg me?

Not sure what a Moses 1100 is, span or area? If it span it's too big for your weight if the area, too small for learning. Anyhow shouldn't be any durability problems with any good quality brand.

120l is way big enough for learning, at your weight I would aim for less, around 100l.

there is no problem to use the 1100 with the 91 mast. the 91 is not as stiff as the 82 or the new 92 but to start with ,
this will not be a problem till you start jumping.

It is 2100 cm2.

Agree 100% then later get the 950 wing and you'll have a nice combination but the 950 will become you main choice. Well this is how it is for me.

Don't worry about the mast length, more length simply means more mast to flex. You might need a bit more down pointing angle on your stabiliser than for a short mast though. If you find that your ballance point foiling is significantly forward of your ballance point off the plane then move your mast back though.

I'm 105kg, you can bet that puts a lot more stress on a mast than 75 Kg despite wing width! I learned on a self built 2600sq cm foil 1.2m wide on an F-one short mast... You can ride sketchier gear than me and get away with it

Thanks for the input everyone! What wing size do you think I should start with? Most of the wind around here is light. I kite in 8/9 to 22knots most of the time. Was thinking a 6m for light stuff and maybe a 4m later on ?

Well, sounds "right".

BUT, a 5 m2 is the sweet size, that can go quite low, and not feel big.

Any 6 m2 will feel big.

And a 4 needs some wind, so you might regret not having a 5 when 75 kg.

I did, thought I could use 6 and 4, no way, and bought a 5 which is my most used size now, almost same weight as you.

Something to think about, as you are avoiding the sweetspot size IMO.

On the other hand, when learned and if you keep your really big foilwing, you could maybe use the 4 m2 quite early

Thanks Peter! Whats your wind range with a 5m?

I can ride my 5 from 13-14 knots, 78 kg and need some wind, maybe lack of talent.

Others can go in 12 knots, but I cant.

Upper limit is not present, but of course you want a smaller when you can, so I take my 4 m2 from around 18 knots.
