I had my second session yesterday on a borrowed homemade board (cut down SUP), 6m wing and an Axis 1150 Pump & Glide front with 400 rear.
I was able to get up on foil and ride one direction, but struggled going back with right foot forward. I got tip strikes and ran over my wing several times. Walked back upwind a bunch. Tougher than I expected!
Rider is 67 kg, wind 8-20 knots.

If the foil is too far back, it's harder to stay upwind if you are on your knees.
