Hey wingers!
I've got a 6 year old nephew who's a total baller- very balanced, physically gifted kid that likes to show off. I suspect that he'd kick ass on a wing setup- he can fly a kite on the beach, but water, kite and lines is a bit too much for the near future.
Do you think I could get away with teaching him winging on my beginner foil setup (1150 sq cm wing), 5'4 surfboard style (Slingshot converter)? This way I'd only have to pick up a used wing...
What size wing would you buy for a skinny 6 year old?

His reach will be the issue. Find a grunty small hand wing.

There have been some small kids who started winging young. Boom diameter could be a problem on some wings. Bobo Gallagher got a small diameter boom made for him.

We have had a few people asking about customs for kids
Maybe so many ask
because of our elastic soft shell for safety?
But its definitely going to be so great for kids
New wind surf sport means 20 more years of fun starting anew
Get them started young

I wonder how many kite foiling parents are giving their kids their kite foils (great size) while the parents buy wingsurf sized learner foils....
