Not sure your riding level? At 225lbs Hands down Axis 1120 BSC front wing 19mm mast short fuse 440 or 500 rear and a 6 or 7m wing gets you as low about as low as you can go,coupled with a good 100-115L board, certainly not going to set any speed records but that wing just looking at it brings you on foil Lol 👉🏼

There are a number of things to consider:

1. If you are new at the sport, it takes time to develop your technique for low wind (pumping both the wing, pushing the board forward to planing speed, pumping the board with some planing speed).
2. If you are a fuller figured individual (110kg/250lbs+), then your board needs to have quite a lot of volume and be relatively flat (think Naish Hover 150L/Fanatic 130L) to get some planing speed (being a big guy on a smaller board (110kg on a 110L board) means your board is effectively a sinker in low wind and will be hard to pump out of the water or get good forward speed).
3. A big foil is a must ,,,, Naish 2400, AXIS 1020, AXIS 1150, AXIS 1300 (haven't tried a BSC1120 yet). They all work. The Naish 2400 and AXIS 1020 were the low speed winners for me but they are also slow. I went the AXIS 1300.
4. A wing that does not flex when you are pumping to get up (another big guy issue). I happen to use the Duotone 7m Slick, it has been pretty good. I have had/tried a few other brands and the wings flexed, meaning you were losing power when pumping.

If you can, try as much gear as you can to find what you like.

"Lightwind" for wingfoiling for me is about 15knots with big gear. I just find the low-end in the sport is not very low compared to other foiling disciplines such as kitefoiling and windfoiling.
