I am look to get my 12 year old daughter into winging. Any experiences and recommendations for beginners kit sizes in light f4 conditions would be greatly appreciate .

Some of the decision may depend on the height of your daughter, as wing tip drag can be an issue with the wider span of larger size wings. But generally speaking for those wind speeds and a smaller person just starting off, something between a 4-4.5m wing would be about right. Look for a wing that is fairly light in weight and easy to handle. A 4.2m F-One Swing or similar would be a pretty good choice.

I put my 10 year old grandsons on my slick 2.5. It was perfect for them as they could flip it over themselves and easy control it. I did try them on a 4 mtr but they couldn’t flip it over themselves.
