Hi,
I'm planning on buying a wing foil set and am considering the Sabfoil wing foil board T118 in combination with the W1100, S483, F700HS and M82. I'm an experienced (hydrofoil) kiter (95kg) but without winging experience. It would be a bonus if the board and foil could be used for SUP foiling as well. The W1100 foil set is discussed in detail but I have trouble finding any reviews on the T118 board. Anybody on the forum that has some experience with this board?
Thanks!

Hi,
I was in the same situation as you, experienced kitefoiler wanting to try winging (90kg). I thus tried both the T118 and the T98 (the MB board versions of those, they manufacture for SAB foil). The T118 was certainly easier to ride but its a truck if you are used to the small kitefoil boards. Lucky I tried before buying, decided for the 98 then, was up on the first session and did not regret it.
So the bigger board will make it easier for the first session or so, but then you will be bored quickly, especially if you have some foil experience, its such an enormous board (Despite having the 98, I am actually already thinking of a smaller board and I am only on session 10 wingfoiling..).
Have fun, its a great addition for stronger winds if you are kitefoiling. In light winds, kitefoiling still rules despite all the hype around winging.

Thanks for the input! I'm leaning towards the T98 and if it turns out to be too small for starting a second hand big board for a couple of sessions should get me up and flying. Or go with the T118 and learn quickly, keep it for sup foiling and light wind (holi)days and then buy a smaller board later this year.
Did anyone try supping the T118?

Hello Quiter - did I get your right, that you bought the MB version ? It is quoted 7.7 kg, so I stood away from it so far and Sabfoil quoted it 1kg lighter. Did you weigh yours ?
