I can remember back around early Sept 2019 when I ordered my first wing foiling gear, and just about everyone on Toby’s forum was still trashing winging as completely lame looking next to kite foiling. Even now the consensus still revolves around wing foiling as a tow-in assist for surf locations, or down-winding.
The idea that you can have lots of fun just flat water free styling is still catching on very very slowly
