What do you use now, as preferred/most used for wingfoil?

Only 18 votes worldwide - but I believe the result is correct, as here in Denmark with 100 votes we have the same result, which is:

I am a bit curious about those riding with straps without jumping - is it because you can "save" a bad maneuver better, or because you can twist the board faster, or make 360s easier, or?
As I have heard a lot of "rumors", but dont know if correct or not

Im a 'tweener. I ride my small board with front and back straps, but I often step in and out of the back strap. I strap in for jumping, and often (not always) step out of the strap for wave riding, pumping, etc... On my big lightwind board, I still ride with a front strap because I feel it gives me more leverage and control in pumping and carving, but I don't ride a back strap since that board isn't fun to jump. I only ride a front strap on my natural side. When I ride unnatural, I am unstrapped.
In my opinion the front strap is helpful for almost all riding, but I find that a back strap limits me (unless I'm jumping). I move my back foot around quite a bit.

Straps can be also used for easier waterstarts on smaller sinker boards or windsurfing style waterstarts.

I´m quite new to winging, but very enthusiastic - and mounted the front straps (like I did in kitefoiling for waterstarting mostly) as I was told by experienced mates, that pumping would be more effective with the front legs being supported to pull up/forward. I´m not talking about pumping in 20 kts, I´m talking about the very low end, to get up onto foil with 6m in gusty fresh water conditions.

Jumping strapless is easy, it's all about the landings...
