The W1100 is great for learning
But will get too big later, it is 2100 cm2.
You will want wings around 1000 to 1500 cm2 then, at your weight.

Can I ask mas for your advice in regards to my Wingfoil setup? it is Mint related, so I will use this topic if it s ok.
I bought 2 months ago the beginner pack, composed of and inflatable board (5.3 HIPE, 110 litres) with the XL Xover foil (feeling 1.900 cm2 according to Gong) and a 5 m Gong Plus Wing. I have used it in 10 sessions, winds from 14-25 and can foil straight, but find myself overpowered, the front foot pressure is very high. I have the feeling that the foil to big for my needs, the board has too much volume, and I would also need a smaller wing (4 m perhaps). Besides I have realised that having to pump up and deflate a board is not what I want, it my sessions unnecessarily longer.
So I am thinking in buying a second set, the GONG PACK WING ALLOUND, which would be composed of a non-inflatable board (the 4.8 Mint with 80 litres), a 4 m neutra v2 wing, and a L Curve foil (feeling 1.350 cm2 according to Gong)
As background; I am 63 kg, 1,74, athletic, beginner kitefoiler, advanced twintip+surfkiter /10 years’ experience) and Intermediate surfer+Supper.
Would you say it s the right choice? right foil (size, model), right board (volume, model)? I do not want to carry a lot of material. Winds are 14-28 I my homespot. In my mind, I would like to have 2 wings (4+5), one board and one foil when possible.
