Just got a quiver, no Dlab this year as they are now double the price of the standard one...
Differences at first look:
- other windows: I find windows useless but at least the new ones are perfectly place to fold the wing when packing
- new canopy, a bit thicker I think. Also not 3x3 but 2+2x2 (see pics old purple vs new white)
- stiffer flag handle
- reinforcement handles on the strut
- I can't compare 1 to 1 as I had diffrent sizes and some in Dlab but they seem a bit heavier then last year:
6,5 @ 3,1kg
5,5 @ 2,7kg
4,5 @ 2,4kg
3,5 @ 2,1kg
It looks like they expanded the reinforcement between the handles to prevent the strut blowout mentioned in another thread (Worse wings of 2022 - viewtopic.php?f=201&t=2414392).
New Duotone 2023 Unit is out.
Check out my 1st look at the new features
Meant to be slightly heavier than last years but also more powerful so can drop down half a size so in theory it’s lighter.

For comparison with the 2.7 kg weight of the 2023 5.5 m^2 Unit quoted above, my 2022 5.5 m^2 Duotone Slick SLS weighs 2.54 kg all up.
That's 2.20 kg for the wing alone plus 0.34 kg for the carbon boom.
In general an SLS Slick seems to weigh roughly the same amount as a one size (0.5 m^2) smaller regular Slick. In other words, with SLS you can go up 0.5 m^2 in size without incurring a weight penalty.
