Many people have experienced that unsettling moment when they see their kite flying down towards them. This guides explains what a front stall is exactly and what you can do once a kite has front stalled. With front stalls, however, prevention is better than cure. Therefore this video also explains the situations that can cause frontstalls, so that you are able to deal with them, including:
- light wind frontstalls
- switching wind or gusty wind frontstalls
- closing in on a kite at speed
- kite overflying the edge of the window
