depowerable foil size recommendations

Postby jbheyman » Wed Nov 01, 2006 11:41 pm

I'm looking to buy my first depowerable foil (and can only afford one) and looking for size recommendations. I weight 175 lbs, will be using it primarily on skis and for landboarding. I expect to be kiting in light-to-moderate winds alot of the time, and have a 3m fixed-line for when things get really hairy. Would something in an 8m or 10m range fit the bill? What kind of range should I expect to get out of these kites? I know some of it will depend on snow condtions, but any tips would be helpful. Thanks.
