The snowkite-season haven't started around Stockholm yet; further north there have been some reports of the first sessions etc.
But since the weather is very unstable here this time at the year you never know; in 3 days there may be enough snow... or +8 degrees and rain.
The closes good spot (i.e as in lots of huge ravines and slopes to play in) from Stockholm is Sälen. Its a 3.5 hour drive (or better make that 4-5 hours if you are not used to drive in snow
) to get there but it is well worth it.
From there you can find countless spots if you continue north for another hour. There are more good spots available then it is possible to list here. Also most of them probably haven't been kited yet.
I've kited on a couple of spots in the very north of Sweden (not far from Kiruna) and there you could kite in one direction for days without seeing other humans or signs of civilization.
But if the expedition thingie isn't what you are after and you just want to play around in awesome terrain and also only be a 5 minutes ride down the slope to the best and biggest afterski-party in the entire nordics then Sälen should be great. The spot is big enough to never feel crowded either...
