Good kiting up in the San Juan Mtns. Molas Pass, Red Mtn, and Lemon Res. all good to go!

Thanks for the pic Tommy, love the San Juans and looking forward to returning this winter. Glad to hear & see you have snow. We could definitely use some more in Utah.

I just got back into town from the Holidays. Looks like things aren't particularly loaded, but I'm sure Lizard Head, Ironton, and Red Mountain Pass are totally good to go. I'll bet there is just enough snow on Hastings. If I go up there for work this week, I'll give a better report.

The Colorado Kiteforce webpage says Dillon is frozen and that they just got 6" of fresh.

I hear there is a foot of fresh on Hastings. Finally winter is here. RMP and Lizard Head got 18". Maybe another 6" tonight. It's all on now.

Knock on wood, it looks like we might be getting back to 'normal' frontal conditions. The San Juans are pretty loaded. Avy danger is way high. Had a blast Saturday at Lemon with the afternoon thermal. A dozen kites in the sky.
