Yeah, I would if I could too. Thanks for the heads up though Scott. Would love to another time.

Anthony: It looks like snow through the weekend, but let's keep an eye on the weather, maybe the first of next week if the sun comes out. White out on Snow Mesa isn't much fun!

Started Saturday off with a run off the east Face of Argentine Peak, followed by east face of Squaretop. Got a nice kite session (10m Access) in on Guanella Pass on the way out. Sawtooth Ridge and 14er Bierstadt (right) in photo background. And yes, I was considering trying to kite up Bierstadt but concern over damage to life, limb, kite and skis kept me kiting in circles on the flats. This is a pretty good spot if you don't mind dodging a willow or two, but it doesn't fill in this much every year.

Oh man, me and a buddy almost went to Guanella on Saturday, but every winter picture I looked at online seemed pretty scraggly and like it never really fills in that well. From your picture, it looks great though! Bummer we missed each other. Coverage in the mountains is great right now, I'm not sure its an average year.

Shoot in another week, you'll be able to drive all the way up to the top. I would love to check it out. What size kite were you on?

So many kite spots, so little time.........

Conditions still excellent on Grandmesa. 6" of fresh on top of a 6😄 foot base. Winds 12 to 15 mph Todd and myself. Put down about 12 miles. Just getting a bit bored with the same old field. Matt and company hit Snow Mesa. He referred to it as "BEST DAY EVER". I was unable to go because of time constraints. I'm going over to the front range for some Rafting and my oldest is getting married. Be back by the 3rd. Maybe one last epic trip than. Matt keep it in mind!!!😄

Fun day on Snow Mesa, all smiles at the end of the day. Will have to rely on Matt and Johnny for more pictures. Thanks for going.

Still getting after it, have to be careful of cornice avalanches but coverage is excellent.

that Snow Mesa outing was a hoot! Always nice to score perfect powder and wind well into May. Scott thanks for the tow up.
kitejumping, that's some great drone footage on Loveland.
we just got another 16". The plows are barely even out on the Jeep roads yet. Plenty of high country adventures still Anthony. I plan on coercing my family up to Engineer Pass area for fathers day. Anyone want to join for kites, sled, and bbq?

Matt, I would love to check out your neck of the woods sometime. I'll have to see if maybe I could coerce some of my family to come out. It would help if there were other kiddos there.

As for this week, I think I am going to try to check out Guanella Pass on Friday. With any luck, they should have the road plowed to the top by Thursday afternoon. Trying to convince a couple other buddies, but realize its a weekday. Anybody wanna join?
