Dont use a peak single skin on the water that is foolish advice to a newbie. You want water relaunchability and self rescue option on the water. Peak gives you neither of those things.
As a landboard kite it would be good for leaning if you plan to keep your wheels on the ground. If you want to go jumping then disregard the peak.
My call stick with lei as a do it all kite.
