Mystic has an impact vest with panels of impact foam for spinal protection. It's designed to work with a waist harness, but would also work well with a seat harness.

I used to use daineese box pads for sketchy BASE jumps back in the day.

Neck brace seems like a good idea for landboarding or snowkite boosting, for sure. Any of you actually using one? My question is whether the brace makes it difficult to put your head back to look up at the kite.....
