Hi - has anyone ever landboarded/kited out at Clark Dry Lake?

Looks doable with a South wind.

I'm looking to get out there as it's close to LA/SD

Took off from Mt Laguna, and landed my Hang glider there, one day
about 30 years ago ; i remember it being a bit bumpy with ruts , so
ya might need some big tires . That was a long time ago ; i may
be mistaken. I have a friend, that might have kited there ; I will
ask him and get back to ya later this week.

Next March there is usually a buggy-Blast on Ivanpah dry lake, about
40-miles south of Las Vegas ; you owe yourself the trip, because
it's probably the smoothest dry lake in the country !! Both world speed
records for landsailing and on a kite-buggy , were set there.
